Think GM and Ford quality is still lacking compared to Toyota, Honda and Nissan? Well, maybe the gap is closing, although I would have to check the actual figures to be sure. The Auto Warranty has gotten better from GM and Ford, and the ability to transfer it to the next owner is important. Hyundai and Kia may have long 10 year New Car Warranty, but only for the original owners.

Even though this video says Toyota recalls have been higher than US based auto makers, I still have the sense that Toyotas have better overall quality and design.
