Blog Stuck On You

My Camera holder is jammed into a drawer with all the other things I barely ever look at or use, but might someday. These include all the business cards people give me, a lot of spare change, a small pocketknife, an old wallet, a couple of old pictures, and a few rings that I never wear. If I am really lazy I’ll throw my checkbook and bank statements in there, but I usually end up cleaning those out after a few months or when it gets to the point that I can’t even open the door . There’s also a lot of things in there that I put in and forget about. I finally decided to clean it out and you’ll never believe what I found, it was my high school class ring . I didn’t even remember having one. It could possibly be another Mike, so it’s possible that it isn’t mine . I have friends over a lot and one of them might have left it here on accident . So it might not be mine, but it does remind me of the stupid, stupid people I went to high school with. It’s got an ugly green gemstone on it and this moldy-looking brass metal making up the actual ring. It quite possibly could pass as jewelry for a cheap fortune teller who steals all your money with your fake fortunes . Back in high school, everyone thought that looked cool. But back then no one had good taste in music, clothes or jewelry, usually people don’t gather a sense of style until they graduate high school .
