What is Psoriasis? Psoriasis is a disease of inflammatory skin order. There are five varieties of psoriasis each with its own symptoms and unique sign. Due to researches, between the ranges of 10% to 30% of psoriasis patients have related forms of arthritis that is known as “psoriatic arthritis”. Psoriatic arthritis may cause inflammation in human body’s joint.

The most general type of psoriasis is plaque psoriasis. There are 80% of psoriasis patients have plaque psoriasis. According to medical researches, this disease can be detected when it appears as patches of raised and red skin bounded by silvery white scale. The patches that are produced by the plaques mostly form on the knees, elbows, scalp and lower back. On the other hand, the plaques may take over anywhere on the human body.

The other form of are inverse psoriasis (soft and red burns which is form in skin folds), pustular psoriasis (white pustules bounded by red skin), guttate psoriasis (tiny red spots on the skin), and erythrodermic psoriasis (extensive redness and painful itching).
